What are some of the best places for photos around the St. Louis and surrounding areas?

Forest Park, Saint Louis, MO 63112

This famous park holds endless possibilities. From tree covered paths, to mini waterfalls, to endless grassy hills and pretty bridges, this ones has it all.

We have shot Weddings, Engagements, Proposals, Family and Pet photo sessions all at Forest Park. This massive park offers all kinds of amazing photo opportunities for just about any occasion.

The waterfall by The Muny offers a perfect spot for wedding, engagement, or family photos. Plus, The Muny itself is fantastic for wedding party photos!

Art Hill is a perfect spot for a mixture of photography, including: Families, seniors, engagements, and more!

Over the years, Forest Park in Saint Louis has never disappointed. Parking can be tricky during peak busy times in the Summer, so its best to coordinate ahead of time and have a plan to meet at a specific location (often times we meet by the statue on Art Hill).

Best time of day for most kinds of photo sessions at Forest park are the last 2 hours prior to sunset. This will give you a soft golden and more even cinematic lighting to work with, versus harsher light earlier in the day.

Tower Grove Park, Saint Louis, MO 63110

Tower Grove is a beautiful park year round, but especially during Fall and Spring. During these two seasons of the year, this park really begins to shine. Spring brings gorgeous white blooming trees that provide a unique look in the area. During the fall, vibrant red, green, and yellows turn the park into a vivid landscape.

During the spring, Tower Grove is perfect for maternity, family, and senior sessions. It is also a perfect time of year, if your wedding venue is close by, to travel here for wedding photos!

This park features stone ruins, including a stone archway. A lively pond that is usually bustling with ducks, and a large gazebo!

We have done many maternity, senior, family, and engagement sessions here. As well, we have come here with many wedding parties for large group photos and bride/groom photos!

Klondike Park, Augusta, MO 63332

Klondike Park is one of our personal favorites. Year round this park offers scenery of lush green pine trees, open white sand areas, and a large lake!

We have done a mixture of senior, family, maternity, proposal, engagement, pet, and creative sessions here!

Often not too overcrowded, we can always find a space to create all kind of gorgeous photos at Klondike Park. There is also a bathroom on site which also allows for an easy way to change into another outfit!

The Missouri Botanical Gardens, St. Louis, MO 63110

The St. Louis Missouri Botanical Gardens is a one of a kind location in all of Missouri! This amazing garden features countless beautiful flowers/vegetation.

The Botanical Gardens feature a variety of cultures and incredible scenery, such as: The Japanese Garden, The Climatron (a jungle-esq garden, especially great during winter months), Chinese garden, Center for Home Gardening, and much more!

There are more than 27,000 different identifiable plants always on display! Weather you are a plant enthusiast, or you are just looking to have gorgeous photos for whatever the occasion is, the St. Louis Botanical Gardens is a fantastic option!

Best time of day for most kinds of photo sessions at The St. Louis Botanical Gardens are the last 2 hours prior to when they close. The gardens close at 5pm, so we usually aim for a 3pm or 4pm start time, this will give us the best possible lighting. There is also plenty of shade to work with, so if we have to aim for an earlier time such as 1 or 2pm, we just have to stick mainly to shaded areas!
